PowerEdge 840: Flashing light?
Our PowerEdge 840 has recently started flashing at us.
There is an orange light just above th Dell logo on the front of the case, I can only assume it's in the general area of the hard drive. (I haven't tried opening and looking yet, the machine is in use during working hours and we don't have a working backup - I'm currently in the process of updating that one)
I've tried searching but I can't find anything to do with an orange light at all, let alone a flashing one.
The computer itself seems fine, it runs our phone system (trixbox) and there's no problems with the phones.
Can someone shed some light on this at all?
Thanks
Mandi

Ah, just found this.
Amber: Flashes when the system needs attention due to a problem with power supplies, fans, system temperature, or hot-plug hard drives.
How do I go about finding out what it's trying to tell me?
I'm more used to troubleshooting home PCs that aren't vital than servers which a company relies on.

I don't know much about the machine so bear with me.
It's got Linux installed as part of trixbox. The logs I know of are related to that, and not the computer itself.
The front hasn't been opened since.... well not as long as I've been here and that's over 6 months. It only started flashing this week.
What / Where is the ESM log?

the setup screen might have something to view this. I have vmware hypervisor installed and it said something about the a battery being in an invalid state.
