PowerEdge Matrox G200eW3 resolution

I have a PowerEdge R7515 with a Matrox G200eW3.  I'm trying to set the resolution to 720p or 1080p or some other 16x9 resolution but my best option in Windows Server 2022 is 1600x1200.  Looks like the latest Driver is already installed.

How can I get the resolution higher?

Thanks

Looks like I got it fixed.  I uninstalled the device from the device manager again but this time I chose the option to delete the driver.  It then showed up with the generic video card so I reinstalled the Matrox software and now it's working even though the driver version is the same.  It's now set to 1920x1200.

Kurt4949,

As seen here 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 are indeed supported, but it is only supported in reduced blanking mode.

Let me know if this helps.

What is reduced blanking mode?  I'm missing many of those 16x9 options in the link you provided.  For example, I don't even have 1360 x 768.

Hi @Kurt4949,

I tried checking for Matrox's information for blanking mode, but there is no guide if needed to be set on it's graphic software. I did find settings on nVidia. Therefore for Matrox reduced blanking mode, i presume it's automatically adjusted by it's driver.

Have you tried another monitor? May I know what monitor model are you using and what cable is used for the connection?

Initially there was an old kvm monitor attached but I don't have any monitor at the moment.  I'm trying to make the change through idrac viewer.  I tried uninstalling the video card and display from device manager but that didn't help.  Also rebooted but it still acts like a display is connected and I'm missing 16x9 options.dell-r7515-res - Copy.jpg

I believe it is a capability of the monitor itself.

Let me look into it and confirm.

Also, the resolutions are different based on if you are attached to the front or the rear of the server, just food for thought.
