Poweredge R710 teaming and other issues
Dear All,
I'm new to Dell hardware, I was wondering about how to create a teaming with 2 NICs (I don't have the "Team Management" in the broadcom utility...) and how do i do to reinstall the OS because I would like to define my own RAID and partitioning profile.
Thanks,
Dario

The bacs is already installed but i don't have the teaming set up option.
The server does not have the dvd reader...

Hi Dario
What OS are you using in your PowerEdge R710?
Here's a link for the broadcom driver for Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 x86:-
<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>
Once you extracted the file, you should see a folder name Driver_Management_Apps_Installer. Inside that folder, run the Setup. You should have the Broadcom Advanced Control Suite (BACS) installed.
Here's link to how to configure network teaming:-
To reinstall the OS, you can use the Dell Systems Management Tools and Documentation DVD.
www.dell.com/.../DriverFileFormats
You will have to download these 2 ISO files, combine them into 1, burn to a DVD, boot from the DVD and begin the OS installation.
Let us know how it goes.

Run through the installation again, choose Custom/Advanced, and watch for the option to install/include Advanced features (like link aggregation, teaming, etc.).
