poweredge t300 won´t start up

Sorry to hear of your problem on your Poweredge T300.

Power down the server, remove the power cord and drain the power from the motherboard by holding in the power button for 15 seconds or until the light goes off.  Open the case, and locate the jumpers, NVRAM_CLR and PWRD_EN.  They will be located to the left of the SATA ports.

NVRAM_CLR — Clears NVRAM. The NVRAM will be cleared when the jumper is closed (use the jumper from the password bridge). To properly clear, AC power must be applied (not necessarily turned on) to the system for about 10 seconds while the jumper is closed.

Pins 1-2 shorted clears NVRAM

Then put the pin back and restart the server normally.

Next option is to reduce it to the minimum to POST.

System board

Processor (with heatsink)

One stick of memory in slot 1

1 power supply (with Power Supply Distribution Board for systems with redundant power supply)

Disconnect the hard drives and optical drive.

Power up the server.  If you have the same error, most likely your system board has failed.

Hi im back, i did all that and din´t work , i wonder how can system board failed if the lcd work and wen i put the network cable in the lights from network adapter start .

ok ,now i know for sure the motherboard work fine, after i did all that zou told me somehow the power supply vent came alive and working  , then the lcd started display error ´cmdos no battery´, bcaz i pull out the battery ,so all was fine ,but after i pull the power cable out to shutdown the server and put the battery , the power supply vent is not starting again, so i ques the power supply is not working ok.
