poweredge T410
Hi, Team
I have a poweredge T410 with intel E5620 on CPU 1. It runs great but I want to upgrade to XEON X5675 on both CPU slots. I purchase two X5675 and I specifically told them to make sure that they work in tandem both have same specs but different S#s. they work separately fine on CPU one on CPU 2 it halts at boot and give me a message in RED letter to move the chip to CPU1. Order Memory from memory net
M393B2G70BH0-YH9
Samsung 1x 16GB DDR3-1333 RDIMM PC3L-10600R Dual Rank x4 Module
Bios ver 1.14.0
I have followed the poweredge T410 technical guide about memory configuration but nothing. Computer will not Boot up.
Help please.

Hello,
following this documentation, the XEON X5675 is not supported by this server.
Did you buy this upgrade with a Dell order?
Thanks

Hi, thank you for responding. No I did not buy it from dell. I have the same technical manual but it is old and out date so I though. so basically anything on the X5500 will work in tandem? Table 13 Advance Config and power interface suggest the higher I can go is X5570 Q1G9 2.93 Pmin+10 /4C/3C: 3.20 2C/1C: 3.33/ D-0
or that will not work and just stay with the advice on Table 12
Intel Xeon X5560 2.80GHz, 8M cache, 6.4 GT/s QPI, Turbo, HT
thank you
