If it is still under warranty, you can contact DELL for a replacement! If the warranty is out, you can buy a hard drive of the same model and replace it yourself!

Hi,
I bought the disk below.
Size and RPM (SAS) are the same. When replacing the disk, should the P/N and DP/N of the disk I purchased be the same as the disk with the error?
Do I need to replace the disk and configure raid? The current Raid configuration is Raid 10.
Thanks.

If you are only trying to replace the faulty disk, it doesn't have to be the exact same model.
As long as rebuilding is done correct, I don't think the configuration is necessary step for next.

We replaced the disk. But the error still occurs.
Did I do something wrong? Is it right to behave like this?
Is this error in the backplane 1 and not the disk?

Hi,
Considering the entire SAS chain, it is more likely to replace the HDD first. If you tried this, it would look at other parts of the SAS chain that are less likely to cause errors. Now, if you are suspicious about Slot 4, you can try the HDD there if there is another free slot. However, it would be appropriate to examine and look for errors in the System event log. You can control SEL via iDRAC.https://dell.to/4bHi3Do You can check and update RAID controller, BIOS, iDRAC, BP firmware.
Hope that helps!
