Is there any way to get hold of the license that came with the machine?

Hi,
There might be a way, but before that, you will need to do the ownership transfer to you: https://dell.to/3I8fo8R
After the ownership have been transferred, do let me know, then I'll PM for an initial conversation, to request for the service tag verification. I'll then check if the license can be reissued to you.

@DELL-Joey C Not sure if the ownership has been transferred or not, however i cant see the previous companies name on the device anymore.
How do you tell if its completed the transfer?

Hi,
Usually you will receive an email stating the transfer is completed. I've sent you a PM to open a conversation, you can message me back the server service tag and your details, name, company and email.
