R310 BIOS Update Fails
I have a pair of R310's both are BIOS v1.5 and v1.6. The support site has downloads for v.1.12 - v.1.14 which is the latest published.
I have tried to flash the oldest available BIOS but it fails because it things it's not an R310 and it does not allow me to proceed.
Is there a place where I can find older BIOS versions to do an intermediate update, or is there a command line option that will force the BIOS update?
Thanks and regards,

Found the problem.
Turns out my servers are OEM and had custom BIOS images installed. I found a post with a reference to a "/forcetype" switch when running the updater utility. Created a bootable DOS USB drive with the utility in it and ran the exe with the "/forcetype" switch.
Clean upgrade to v1.14.0.

Hello mgateno,
I am not finding any BIOS available previous to 1.12.00.
First try flea power drain and then retry applying the BIOS:
drain flea power (shut down, disconnect power cables and Network cables, hold in power button 20 seconds with cords removed). After flea power drain, system has to set for 3 minutes for DRAC to reset without any power plugged in, then plug in NIC and power but wait 2 minutes before power on to give DRAC time to initialize.
A couple other method to try:
Try the 32bit and 64bit
Be sure to Run as administrator
Use the Raw BIOS executable file, on the same page with the other BIOS files.
File Name: PER310-011200.exe
File Size: 1.7 MB
To use it, download the file and copy it to a DOS-bootable USB flash drive, then boot the system to the USB flash drive and run the program.
