R440 Resolution Problems on RHEL
We have an R440, with a Matrox G200eW3 / 16Mb graphics card running thru VGA, and the OS is RHEL 6.7
We cannot get the 1920 x 1200 resolution, only getting to 1024x768. Anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?

Hi,
I'm not an expert in Linux, but I had a discussion with a co-worker of mine. RHEL uses the generic graphic OS driver which detects the supported resolution from the GPU Matrox G200 and the monitor. Since the GPU supports up to 1920X1200, can you try check with another monitor. Have you also updated the iDRAC/LCC and BIOS firmware? Also, can you let us know how did you install the OS?
