r710 Memory Module 1 Temp 44C
Hello,
We have a number of esxi 6.5 host's in a cluster. One of the hosts is complaing about temperature warning on Memory Module 1. I switched the ram dimms to see if the warning would move to the new dimm. It did not. We then ordered a new Dimm and installed it. Tried in both CPU's slot 1.
At this point I am wondering if the issue is with the motherboard. Or if it could be a bad reading somehow. Anyone who could shed some light on this would be appreciated. Any suggestions for things to try would be helpful.
Thanks!

The next thing I would do is clear the iDRAC's log. You might also check that the BIOS and iDRAC firmware are up to date. Finally, the last thing I would consider is to shut the server off, unplug it, then hold the power button down for 30 seconds. Bring it back up after, and check again.
How does that temperature reading compare against some of the other thermals in the system?
