R740 iDRAC - boot fail from Virtual Optical Drive
Hi guys,
Dell newbie here, looking for some tips from experts - I have a valid bootable .iso that doesn't boot up on an R740 when mapped as Virtual Media
Any recommendations on how to load it?

Daniel,
Would you cofirm what ISO you are trying, and if it occurs on any ISO you try to mount? If unsure, would you try downloading and booting to this ESXi ISO, just to test?
Also, just to confirm, you are seeing an iDrac Enterprise license correct?

Hi Chris,
It's indeed an Enterprise iDRAC9. The ISO i'm tring to load is the official Check Point Security Management Server (Gaia R81.10)
Hash of the ISO is matching the one on Checkpoint side. ISO itself boots very fine on different platforms, just not on the 740 Power Edge I am supposed to install the Check Point components on.
Oddly enough, an ISO of newer version of Check Point SMS (R81.20) boots up fine on the 740, but I am constrained to use R81.10
As far as Checkpoint is concerned, there's no difference in the bootloader of the two versions that would explain why one is booting and the other not.
