R7425 Bus Fatal Error

Dell R7425 is getting an error:

A bus fatal error was detected on a component at slot 1.
A fatal error was detected on a component at bus 67 device 0 function 0.

In slot 1 is a GPU (w6800). This error occurs when the amdgpu kernel module gets loaded. I get the same error with a different GPU, also as soon as something tries to load the kernel module.

Does this indicate some sort of hardware issue? I tried moving the cards to slot 4 (the other x16 slot) and get the same problem.

What operating system did you have one the server?

AMD w6800 is not a supported GPU for PowerEdge R7425. Not supported does not mean it will not work. As it is not supported it is not validated, hence we can not guarantee that it will work.
