Replacement PE1800 Powersupply
Hello all,
A customer of our business recently threw away a PowerEdge 1800 after we did a full data recovery off of the hard drives. The reason for this was that the power supply I suspect has failed. No lights, no fans, NOTHING when plugging the PSU in and trying to power on. The customer said they were going to throw it away and got a replacement server.
Anyway, we have this in our office and I'm in charge of possibly getting it back up and working for one of our own. I have searched the net high and low including Dell's own part store trying to find a replacement power supply. The model # is TJ785 with another model # PS5651-1 listed on the sticker. Nothing on ebay or any other site shows up. Are there other part numbers for this 650W non-redundant PSU?
Thanks!

that is ridiculously expensive at impactcomputers.com ... i got my replacment PSU from Dell directly. Just call their number, it might not be on the website. I paid under $100 for it.. which is fairly reasonable for a 650W PSU.
