Riser for PowerEdge R630 (2 CPU)? - connecting PowerVault 124T LTO5 tape drive
Hi, I have a PowerVault 124T LTO5 Autoloader that I want to connect to a PowerEdge R630 (Dual Xeon E5-2660 v3 CPUs). I have purchased a SAS9207-8e 8-Port PCIe LSI IT Mode 9207-8e SAS 6Gb/s External HBA RAID Card (which I believe is the right card), and I need to know the part number of the riser I should be purchasing to install this card on this server. Also, if the LSI HBA card is not the right one, can I have the part number for that as well?
If there is anything else I might need to know about getting this PV 124T connected and functioning with this server, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Hello could you send us your service tag by DM so that we can see your riser configuration?

@DELL-Young E I'm not sure I have permission to do that. If I click on your name then on "Direct Messages" on your profile, it just redirects me to the Dell Community Forum main page.

Hello,
If you could refer to Table 38, page 97~98
Dell PowerEdge R630 Owner's Manual
I’m uncertain the card you purchased already fall into this category stated here. You can leave your follow up questions here I'll try to look up.
Respectfully,

Hello,
It looks like it may work.
It looks like you have a R630 with three low profile slots.
You should have three pcie slots and the controller should go in slot 3 or slot 1.
