Where can I find a video driver for the stock SC420 video card. For windows XP pro and do the make a video card for the PCI E that dell so gladly puts on it.

Would there be any conflict of running Server 2003 either enterprise of Small business and getting a regular PCI card?

OK, now that the correct video driver is here, and assuming win xp installs and the video works right, would it now be possible to install a REGULAR PCI card (nVidia Chipset 128mb PCI)?

So did that driver work on your box? I don't think it makes any difference but it seems all the systems that the win2k/2k3 drivers work on are celeron systems.. I must try this one on my 2.8 P4 system and see if it indeed works..

This driver worked for me- Thanks so much- the missing driver was driving me nuts. Still hope to get a PCIe card installed. Are there any cards that fit without the MOD??

I have not installed the driver yet. Before installing Windows, I want to get all this clarified.

My ideal setup is Windows XP Pro SP2
nVidia 5200 PCI 128mb (regular pci card)

possible?

2.53celeron, 512mb ddr2, 80gb sata

No PCI-Express card will work without the mod.

I have WINXP SP2, 2.53 Celeron, 512 Ram and a ATI X800 XT Video card on it

The above site is very informative on the Dell SC420

I was able to get the Intel driver to work with my SC420

I have a P4 2.8GHz, 1GB RAM, 80GB SATA hd, etc.

Here is the link to download the Intel driver: http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df/filter_results.asp?strOSs=44&strTypes=DRV%2CSCD%2CUTL&ProductID=1901&OSFullName=Windows*+XP+Professional&submit=Go%21

Make sure you install the driver from the Device manager by using the Update Driver option and then pointing it to the location of the unzipped Intel files and subfolder \Win. This woked for me.

If you use the setup program that came with the Intel driver the install will fail with the following message: OS not supported.

Let me know if this works for you.

I just got one of these guys yesterday, and everything worked fine installing windows, except the lan driver -- has anyone else had problems with this?

I was going to give in and just installed redhat fedora2, but I that didn't work out so well either :)

You need to load the LAN driver from the support disk. It will work just fine. You did not mention what operating system you are using, but the WIN2K driver works fine.
