Single-bit ECC error. The controller DIMM is nonfunctional. There will be no further reporting.
I am getting the following error, and cannot seem to find any good information on how to proceed with replacing this failed controller DIMM. Can anyone help?!?!?

Moonfrair23,
I would first start with powering down the server, then remove the raid battery, after that reseat the raid dimm. After reseating the dimm, reinstall the battery and power up. If the error persists then you will likely need to replace the dimm. If you let me know the server you are working with, as well as the controller installed. I can get the part number needed.
Let me know.

@Bilal Mirza,
The H710's memory is built into the controller, it's not removable like on the older PERCs.

I am seeing that same error on a PowerEdge R720xd, with a PERC H710 Mini. Never dealt with this before, so a few questions:
1. I understand, as per ArduinoGuy answer, that I need to replace the PERC H710 Mini. Is this correct?
2. Should I shut down the machine until I replace the piece to minimize risk of data loss?
3. Can someone confirm the part number? I think the DELL part number of the piece is MCR5X with manufacturer part number 405-12070. But I am unable to find it via https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/partsforyourdell/index (using either the service tag or the part number). (The info I have I got from the purchase order and https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Configuration/ServiceTag/)
Thanks!
