Original processors supported:
Intel® Xeon® Processor E5310 (8M Cache, 1.60 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB)
Intel® Xeon® Processor E5320 (8M Cache, 1.86 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB)
Intel® Xeon® Processor L5320 (8M Cache, 1.86 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB)
Intel® Xeon® Processor L5310 (8M Cache, 1.60 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB)
Intel® Xeon® Processor L5318 (8M Cache, 1.60 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB)
Processors supported with latest BIOS:
Intel® Xeon® Processor X5365 (8M Cache, 3.00 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB)
Intel® Xeon® Processor L5335 (8M Cache, 2.00 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB)
Intel® Xeon® Processor E5345 (8M Cache, 2.33 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB)
Intel® Xeon® Processor X5355 (8M Cache, 2.66 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB)
Intel® Xeon® Processor E5335 (8M Cache, 2.00 GHz, 1333 MHz FSB)
Geoff ... is there a reason that the X5365 wouldn't also work? The only difference is the clock. Or did Dell just never validate that one?

Good morning, Oleg
Your Poweredge SC1430 will support the following processor: 2.66 Xeon Clovertown, X5355, LGA771, G0 Dell part # GW622. You will need to make sure the bios is current at 1.4.0.

Thanks for answer. but I'm interested the list of processors.
In particular, whether to work Intel Xeon 2.33 GHz (E5345) Quad Core on my server?

Flash,
our notes show this processor to be excluded in the SC1430, otherwise your list is correct.

Just not sure why it wouldn't be included - the stepping and cache are the same ... the X5355 makes quite a jump over the others in TDP W and Bus/Core Ratio, and the X5365 makes a modest increase over that ... perhaps its just enough to keep it from working.
