We sell validated memory for our servers. If you use memory we haven't validated then we can't say for sure whether it will or will not work.
Based on the specifications listed for that memory it does not appear it will work. According to the memory guidelines for the T20 it supports only ECC memory. The memory linked is non-ECC. I don't think that memory will work, but I'm not sure.
I have a Dell T20 with a Xeon E3-1225 v3 cpu. I am wondering if I can installed SKhynix 8Gb 1Rx4 PC3-14900R-13-13-C2 RAM. I have 4 sticks of it I got and I don't think Registered RAM is supported. I believe this is Registered and ECC, correct?

PC3-14900R - R stands for Registered.
T20 does not support registered RAM.
You need unbuffered RAM - PC3-12600E
