T610 CPU Compatibility

Question

Hi, I have a GEN 1 T610 and want to know what CPU's are compatible with the motherboards. I tried a X5680 but received the error: this CPU power rating is not supported. As I understand this is because it is a GEN 1. I have the latest Bios and Idrac installed. That processor is 130w. Will 95w processors work or is there also an incompatibility with westmere cpu's on the gen 1 motherboards? As an alternative im looking to get the X5675 instead as it's only 95w. Will this processor be compatible? It is also a westmere. Options: X5675: Yes/No?   X5670: Yes/No?   X5672: Yes/No? If none of these are supported, what is the fastest processor the motherboard will accept?   Thanks!

lists the x5680 as compatible but it is not. I get the error message about the power rating not being supported. If the x5680 doesn't work then why would the x5690?

To my knowledge it is a motherboard issue so how is this possible?

IIRC all supported 130W CPU's such as X5680, X5690, X5677, X5687 & X5647 require a Gen II system board.
