T630 Stuck on reload at the Intel Quickpath Interconnect screen
Recently added a second CPU to this server. I went with the Xeon E5-2640 v4, but after installing the heatsink and powering it back up, I get hung up on this screen. Any ideas on what is causing this?

Hello, I'm suspecting your MB might be at fault. Could you please get in touch with https://dell.to/4aS7Kfl ?

Hello thanks for choosing Dell.
Could we try the minimum to POST?
T630
Minimum configuration to POST
The components mentioned below are the minimum configuration to POST:
● One processor (CPU) in socket processor 1
● One memory module (DIMM) in socket A1
● One power supply unit
● System board
● Control panel

Good Morning!
I will say that the server works fine with only the original CPU in. This hang up at the QPI load screen only occurs when I install the second CPU.
The second CPU I just purchased is a Xeon E5-2640 v4.

I might test that theory tonight by installing the new CPU into slot 1 and see if it will work there. If it works, then I know the MOBO is the problem.

@DELL-Young E
I placed the new CPU into CPU slot1 and it fully loaded. As soon as I placed the second CPU into slot2, I got stuck on the QPI loading screen again.
Unfortunately, this server is well past it's warranty. No help from Dell, I assume. :(
