For anyone who has this issue in the future... I finally managed to update the USC via SBUU / SUU method. I now have a USC that has the update option... What a wasted day that was! Josh - thanks for your assistance. cheers will
Yep sorry - tried that first, before then trying to extract. The iDrac recognised the file and started to upload, but then after about 20s it's status changed to failed. :/ Right now I'm trying to use the SBUU via virtual console, and mapping the 7Gb SUU iso... If that doesn't work, then I've no idea what else to try? cheers will
[Profanity removed], this goes from bad to worse :( So the SBUU loaded ok via virtual console, I saw what updates it needed, accepted them, went to update firmware, pointed to my SUU and continued. It says "Checking for Firmware Updates" and has been stuck at 5% since I last posted. I can still open up the iDrac6 gui. And one thing I've noticed is the LC Firmware now says 1.6.0.73. Is this the same as the USC Firmware version? As this was 1.3.0.16 before I began. Is this utility supposed to take so long? (like hours?) If not, what options do I have? cheers will

Hi Will,
Is there an OS installed? If there is you can do the updates there. No OS installed as yet.
I downloaded that file you linked to but I was unable to extract the .USC file? (tried 7zip and winrar).
Been at this all day - head is fried and I've got nowhere :emotion-9:

It is not a compressed file. Go into the iDRAC web GUI and go to firmware update and choose that file and it will update the USC.
