how to help troubleshooting, use the iDRAC UI to enable capturing the full POST requence for the next time it attempts to boot

Hi,

You can view the last three boot cycles and the last crash video. Note: These features require a license. You need Access Virtual Console or admin privileges to view the videos. Videos are stored in RAM and will be deleted if iDRAC is reset. The time shown in the iDRAC player might be different from other video players.

  1. In the iDRAC Web interface, go to Maintenance > Troubleshooting > Video Capture.
    The Video Capture page is displayed.
  2. From the Video Capture Settings drop-down menu, select any of the following options:
    • Disable — Boot capture is disabled.
    • Capture until buffer full — Boot sequence is captured until the buffer size has reached.
    • Capture until end of POST — Boot sequence is captured until end of POST.
  3. Click Apply to apply the settings.

Hi @Thinto ,

I would suggest "Capture until end of POST" This one ensures the entire POST is captured.
