What to expect in new Basic Server Support call experience

Question

Much of Dell Basic Server Support Center work environment is being changed from a private personal cubicles to call center type desk work environment.  What this means to you who call and get phone support is that you are now going to probably hear from 3-5 other people all talking over one another while trying to assist you.  Do not be surprised when asked to repeat yourself or that but regrettably we have no say in the new environment and are not happy about it ourselves. I as one who has experienced this personally wanted to give a heads up.  If you do not like it than it will be up to customers to give feedback on the experience not with the agent your speaking with but with the general overall experience itself in the feedback section of surveys or that.

Dell does offer ProSupport as an option. This gives you software assistance, case ownership, etc.

For a low end server (e.g. T110) the price isn't that great, but at the higher end (R610 or so) the price is pretty small compared to the overall cost of the server.
