Windows server 2012 Foundation reinstall
I have a Dell PowerEdge T110 Series II that came preinstalled with Windows 2012 Foundation Server. I got hit with ransomware and need to reinstall the OS. I have the product key but can't find the OS iso. Where can I get it? I contacted Dell and they couldn't help.

Hello,
I don't know of a resource where you can get that .ISO. However, Microsoft does have the Server 2012 .iso on their website. You might be able to install and then use your foundations license to activate it. I've only ever tried this with Standard and Datacenter editions of Windows, though. It may not work for Foundations.

Foundations is OEM-only, you can only get it from Dell (or other OEM's) or from Microsoft. Microsoft only makes it available with OS/software subscriptions like TechNet (expired) and MSDN.
The evaluation only has Standard and Datacenter, and Foundation is not an inline "upgrade" option using DISM.
Looks like there are a few shady downloads, but I wouldn't trust them - I'd just move to Standard, if I were you.
