Using SUU on ESXi host
Hi,
I have 3 PowerEdge's in myu vSphere cluster. How do I go about using SUU on an ESXi host? I tried running it on several VM's but it kept erroring out with this message:
Error Message: C:\dell\suu\invcolOutput.log (The system cannot find the file specified) [\\Hacwdcfs201\suu\.\bin\Windows\invcol.exe] Details: Problem reading from inventory output file [C:\dell\suu\invcolOutput.log]

The SUU isn't intended for use within ESXi, or on a virtual machine. ESXi can't interact with the SUU, and a VM can't reach the hardware with the updates.
If you want to use the SUU, you need to use it through the Lifecycle controller. The article I've linked to goes into further detail.
