Unable to Delete devices with recoverpoint tag on VMAX3
Hi All,
I am trying to delete devices with RP tag. My symcli version is 9.1.0.6. i can not set attribute=no RCVRPNT_TAG anymore in this version. There is no RP cluster anymore, all the devices are unprotected, no journals. I just need to delete these devices. Can anyone help me

Hi Josh,
I am unable to delete devices with recoverpoint internal flag. I get error saying they are recoverpoint devices. When tried to remove tag using symconfigure command it fails saying its no more supported.
C:\Users\Storage_Adm_1_P_8>symconfigure -sid xx -cmd "set dev 1234 attribute=no RCVRPNT_TAG;" commit

Hello,
Yes that was my first option as I could not do anything about the devices. They were unprotected as per document. Anyways after so many emails L2 did remove the tag from their end and I was able to delete the devices finally.
