PPME Linux LVM volumes
I am migrating data using psuedo device PPME for linux. The source and target are syncd. The source LUN is part of LVM and running oracle database. I am not sure what post cutover tasks to perform. Whether to follow the "Migrate native-named devices under LVM control on Linux hosts" or "Migrate pseudo-named devices under LVM control on Linux hosts" as per the guide. The reason being when I create the PV on psuedo device, pv listing shows native device being used. Hence the confusion. Have anyone performed PPME for LVM device on redhat before. Please advise?

so you are using emcpower devices in your LVM correct ? If yes, then just follow the pseudo device migration documentation, there is no downtime requires (as opposed when migrating native devices)
