Getting unreadable sectors detected
Had drive in slot 7 fail when the box tried to use the hot spare it was also bad so it went into degraded mode
there are also 2 drives in impending failure
first thing I did was replace the drive in slot 7 let it rebuild then replaced the hot spare drive in slot 11 and the system is optimal now and the hot spare is in standby
The issue is that when I try to do a VM backup using Veeam I am getting CRC errors but the servers seem to be running, must just have some corruption.
I am waiting for more spare drives to replace the 2 impending failure drives
can the corruption be repaired or should I just replace the impending drives one at a time when the new drives arrive?
anything that can be done now?

Hello abongard,
What you would want to do is to run a consistency check on the virtual disk. Here is a link to SMCLI guide for your MD3200i, & if you look on page 114 it explains how to do a consistency check. http://topics-cdn.dell.com/pdf/powervault-md3200_cli%20guide_en-us.pdf

Should I pull the drive so it starts building the hot spare first?

Hello abongard,
If the drive hasn’t failed yet & you have a free hotspare drive then you can fail the drive in MDSM so that it will start the copy to your hotspare. Once the copy to your hotspare completes then I would replace the drive.
