Simplex to Duplex mode on md3200i
Hi people.
I need to switch from simplex to duplex mode in my md3200i. my data can erase or damaging in this process ? what is the best practice to add a raid controller for duplex?

Hello ablmzk,
When changing your system from simplex to duplex you want to make sure that your controller that is running is at the latest firmware prior to conversion. If that is the case, then you will need to login to SMCLI & run the following command.
set storageArray redundancyMode=duplex
once you run the command then you will need to add the second controller. Your MD3200 will reboot and then it will sync the controller together.
Normally your data will be fine as adding a controller should not erase any data.
