1000W PSU GPU Update Question

Good afternoon, I have a 1000w PSU in my Precision 3660 and it has 2 X 8 Pin, and 2 X 6 pin inline with the 8 pins. Can I use the two 8-pin adapters, and the two 6-pins to a dual 6-pin to 8-pin adapter to create 3 8 pins for a bigger graphics card?
