128GB ECC - Memory subsystem configuration activity is in progress (T5610)
Hi,
As I am writing this message, I just restart my T5610 workstation.
I've recently updated it from 32 GB (Hynix 4X8GB PC3-14900R DDR3-1866 ECC REG Server RAM) to 128 GB (Micron 128GB 4X32GB PC3-14900L 4RX4 DDR3-1866MHZ Server ECC REG MEMORY RDIMM). As the computer boot, it is going through states S2 -> S3 -> S10. According to the Dell T5610 Spec-Sheet (CSG-EN-XX-ALL-Dell-Precision-T5610-Spec-Sheet.pdf), the system supports up to 128GB of 1866Mhz quad-channel ECC memory.
I plan to let the system undergo its memory subsystem configuration activity. What should I expect? Few hours, days?
Thank you in advance.
