5820 BIOS versions 2.6.1 / 2.5.0

Question

On 07 Dec 2020, Dell released BIOS v. 2.6.1 for the Precision 5820.On 10 Dec 2020, Dell released BIOS v. 2.5.0 for the Precision 5820.Why does the newer release has a lower version number?Does version 2.6.1 include the fixes of version 2.5.0? (It could be because it is a higher version number)Does version 2.5.0 include the fixes of version 2.6.1? (It could be because it is a newer release)For now, I will continue to use v 2.6.1 but this release confuses me.
