You can alsways try. Dell may not support an operating system for various reasons, including discontinued support from the software vendor, lack of availability with certain products, or other reasons.

I don't care if DELL support officialy Windows Server in Precision 3360. I am worried if I can find drivers for the hardware and specific for the NVMe because I want to create RAID 1.
I have already a XPS 8930 with Windows Server 2016 which works without problem. Only wireless card doesn't works (there is no drivers available for "Killer" chipset for Windows Server) but I don't need it.

Hah! You are contradicting to yourself. On one hand, you don't care about Dell support. On other hand, you are worried if hardware (from Dell) does not have proper drivers. All hardware manufacturers must submitted drivers of their hardware to Microsoft. Sometimes, closest matched driver will work.
Not certain, because I have not tested install with your configurations, I can only suggest to test it on a spare drive and allow Windows updates to find best matched drivers for your system. Pre-install of chipset driver may help.

I don't have the PC. I want to use the Precision 3360 as a windows server and I want to know before I buy it if it has compatible drivers.

@ManosV Hi,
have this workstation and wanted same thing as you - Winserver 2022 as OS.
And solution is - IT WORKS :)
I use it about one week without any problems. Used drivers fow Win11, everything in device manager is ok and working.
Installed Dell support assist can find rest of drivers and install them.
BIOS 2.6.1
128GB ECC non Dell RAM :)

@blobx Thank you for your feedback. That's great news.
Did you try to create Software RAID 1 using two Nvme SSDs? Also, did you install Hyper-V role to test if there is any issue?

Hi, I'd like to install Server 2019 using Raid 1 - however, it fails at the beginning of the Windows setup before I even can select the Raid 1 target drive with the issue "a media driver your computer needs is missing". I have no real idea which driver could be missing. Tried the drivers available in the running Windows 11 installation of that machine.
Any hint would be helpful. Is raid 1 supported at all using Windows Server 2019?
