Dell Precision T3500 CPU upgrade

Question

I'm thinking of buying the Dell Precision T3500 used I am wondering what's the best CPU upgrade option and also what type of DDR3 memory is supported. The one I'm looking at needs a new power supply and by what I have seen on Youtube replacing the power supply with a ATX power supply will be fun but can be done and I won't need any power supply adaptor like so many other OEM systems.

I plan to use this as a backup system and would like to know what I can upgrade. Also can I install any GPU or is there a GPU support list for what will work.

As for the cpu, the Xeon processor that is in it works pretty well. I have one and have never had any issues. It will accept an i5, but I’d do research on the socket type first. As for the gpu, it can handle a pretty good one. There’s some really good upgrade videos on YouTube if you type T3500 in the search area.
