I think it is time to do a systematic diagnostic of the electrical condition of your workstation using the Built-in Self Test (BIST) button on the PSU. You can find the steps on this document.
Replace the size 2032 CMOS battery if it hasn't been done within the last 5 years. A low battery can cause all sorts of bizarre problems. This has cured on & off and boot loop problems before.
I recommend going with Energizer or Duracell as they should last around 5 years. Sony only lasted me 2 years.
