Firmware updates for Integrated LSI 1068e SAS/SATA 3.0GB/s Disk Controller
My Dell Precision Workstation T7500 contains an Integrated LSI 1068e SAS/SATA 3.0GB/s Disk Controller. The associated MPT firmware has a date of Aug 2008, but Dell's automated online driver update process for my Service Tag has never identified any MPT updates.
Does this mean that no updates were ever produced for my disk controller over the past 11 years or do I need to look elsewhere to find such updates?

You're probably right.
Checked on T7500 driver page and found no firmware update for LSI 1068e.
Found a thread in HP forum stating no updates as well.
When it happens to IBM, they do have an updates for it dated as 14 January 2011. But of course it would not be recommended by Dell.
Further reference, a discussion here tells that Broadcom do not support OEM hardware, i.e. you won't find any updates from Broadcom as well.
