My "Precision 380", I think he SATA first version.
It can work with HD SATA III ?

H @GiorgioClimb the system board only supports up to SATA-II drives.

There's also backwards compatibility. So, if you use a SATA-III HDD, your system will run it at SATA-II speeds.

You can still gain speed by using an SSD. Do they ever breathe new life into older machines.
