High speed data writing configuration
What would be the best configuration for the following criteria:
Stream incoming data to a PCIe x8 slot from an external hardware at the rate of 3.2 GB/sec without causing any bottlenecks.
I was thinking of a primary NVME SSD storage for the OS and applications and 2 or 4 SSD in RAID 0 configuration. Given the fact that most SSD are more dependable these days, still all the data written to the RAID drives will be backed up to a network storage at the end of the day.
Is there any specific workstation configuration I should be looking for ?
Thanks
