Installing clean windows 10 on ssd
I am trying to have a clean Windows 10 installation on my Dell Precision T1600. I have set BIOS to boot from UEFI option. When I insert the windows 10 boot USB, it could boot from it and I followed the Windows installation steps, formatted the SSD drive and selected it to have windows installed on it. During the installation, Windows wants to restart and when it reboots, it goes back to the first step of Windows install. I can see it successfully copied the file on the SSD since almost 9 GB of the hard is used. When I reboot the pc without USB, it cannot find any driver. In BIOS the SSD is not listed and I cannot choose it to be booted from and continue with the Windows.

This is because your first boot device is the external media. Remove your windows install disc/usb and try booting again. The installer should continue just fine because all of the needed files are already copied to your computer.

Yes boot F12 and select your new SSD to boot from, You have no need for the bootable USB/DVD install media once you are installed. Still removing it you should boot f12 on the first boot to ensure that the system sees that you want to boot from your new SSD
