Intel Virtual RAID on CPU (VROC) driver crashes 7920
Hi,
I get a BSOD (Kernel security check failure) after installing the Dell driver "Intel Virtual RAID on CPU 7.5.0.1991, A13"
<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>
Really annoying as the system wont boot and cant recover from it without reimaging and cant check the RAID status in Windows without this driver. Same result if I get the driver from the Intel site.
It is running Windows Server 2019. I have a RAID 1 mirror of 2x NVMe PCIe SSD's.
No Events found!

Have you tried also older versions of that driver ?
You're installing it on an unsupported OS ( that driver and it's predecessors are meant not for Server 2019 ), and you may be a bit more lucky with a prior release (worth a shot)

Windows Server isnt even an option on the Dell Support Site, which is ridiculous. Lets face it, Windows Server 2016&2019 are just Windows 10 anyway.
Luckily, v 6.2.0.1239 from the Intel site is working now.

Glad to hear that an older version works... probably the dell equivalent would also, but no point doing tests with the risk of wasting time.
