Memory configuration on 5820 W series

I have a brand new Precision 5820 with a W series Xeon processor, and two 32 GB memory modules from Crucial that appear to be the correct memory.

Either one or both of the modules is bad (which I doubt) or I'm doing something wrong.

No matter what slots I put the memory in, when I plug the power in, the power LED comes on (white), and stays on steady forever rather than going off after a few seconds like normal. No error beeps, or anything else. (It works fine with the 8 GB stick that came with it). (No, I'm not leaving the 8 GB stick in while trying to use the 32 GB sticks.)

Is there a configuration that works with two 32 GB memory modules, or do I need to order two more? The chart in the manual only shows 4 (or more), but it's not very expansive.
