Precision 3660 - goes to sleep while hosting RDP
My second issue with new Precision 3660 - hosting an RDP session, the PC goes to sleep after whatever time is in Power Options (Control Panel->Power Options ->Sleep after:[time] ) In other words, no activity whatsoever is detected by the OS once the machine starts hosting a Microsoft RDP session. I'm typing away from the remote client and the machine appears to die. (The turn off display after also turns off the RDP client screen, but can recover from that with a keystroke)
This is new preconfigured Precision 3660 with Windows 10 Pro, 16gb RAM, i7 12th gen processor)
And since WakeOnLan does not work except from complete power off (my other post/issue), there is no way to bring the computer back out of sleep without being physically present at the PC.

Suggested settings:
System can still be put to sleep using 'sleep' button on a keyboard or set power button to 'sleep.' With that setting, power button will put unit to sleep if pushed while in the OS. It'll still act normal in every other way - power on and if not in OS, but say in BIOS instead, power button will power off if pushed.
I'm fairly certain it was your thread I responded to when suggesting to pursue WOL as warranty issue since you were getting clicks from the PSU when trying WOL with PC in sleep state. It sounds like the PSU almost tries, but doesn't quite get there or get it.

I wound up reinstalling Windows (from BIOS using online download from Dell) and that solved issue of going to sleep while in a RDP session.
It did not solve my other issue (other thread) of not being able to wake up using WOL - and as I dig more, appears to be related to the extremely buggy S0 "Modern" sleep mode which appears to be the only sleep mode supported by Dell on the 3660.

Glad you got the sleep issue fixed.
I did see your other thread, but don't have an answer for it as I would like.

There's an option to enable AMT functionality (integrated into chipset/controller)
It has remote On/Off option and user-friendly web interface while PC is off.
Just provision it via ME configuration (IP address, password, etc.) during boot (might need to enable hotkey in BIOS first to enter ME).

Same wake from sleep issue with Optiplex 7000 and maybe 5000. Makes the computers unmanageable in the classroom environment. Machines don't wake to maintenance window or task scheduler cannot wake the machine up. Dell should do something.
