Precision 7920, 2 different CPUs in one machine
I have the Precision 7920, it has the CPU below
Intel Xeon Silver 4114 2.2GHz, 3.0GHz Turbo, 10C, 9.6GT/s 2UPI, 14MB Cache, HT (85W) DDR4-2400
I'm wondering if I can upgrade it and add not replace, but add the CPU below to the desgin that I have it now
Intel BX806736130 Xeon Gold 6130 Processor.
Please let me know, if there's any restrictions on combining the 2 CPUs in one machine.

From the Precision 7920 Rack Owner's Manual:
CAUTION: If two PSUs are installed, both the PSUs must have the same type of label. For example, Extended Power Performance (EPP) label. Mixing PSUs from previous generations of Precision Workstation is not supported, even if the PSUs have the same power rating. This results in a PSU mismatch condition or failure to turn the system on.
CAUTION: When correcting a PSU mismatch, replace only the PSU with the blinking indicator. Swapping the PSU to make a matched pair can result in an error condition and unexpected system shutdown. To change from a high output configuration to a low output configuration or vice versa, you must turn off the system.
CAUTION: AC PSUs support both 240 V and 120 V input voltages with the exception of Titanium PSUs, which support only 240 V. When two identical PSUs receive different input voltages, they can output different wattages, and trigger a mismatch.
CAUTION: If two PSUs are used, they must be of the same type and have the same maximum output power.
NOTE: Ensure that both the PSUs are of the same capacity.
NOTE: Mixing PSUs (even the PSUs that have the same power rating) from previous generations of Precision Workstation is not supported. This results in a PSU mismatch condition or failure to turn the system on.
I searched the docs using "mix."

Precision 7920 Owner's Manual
Precision 7920 Tech Guide
Precision 7920 Spec Sheet
I searched the above documentation and couldn't find the answer. Items are linked in case I missed something. The Tech Guide shows CPU families together, but I found nothing if they can be mixed or not, even with CPU families. By the way, search using "processor."
Is your 7920 in warranty? Either way, you might be able to use the Contact Support link to call, chat, or email Dell directly.

Thank you bradthetechnut for your response, I won't mix up the two processors baased on your warning, but if I added the same processor that I have it now in my system, which has the 10C, do you think, I will get total of 20C or the number of the virtual cores won't change after adding another processor to the system?
Also, if I have now 128GB as a RAM, should split the 128GB between the 2 processors?

I might not be sure what you meant by "10C" and "20C." I figured you might've meant "cores," but the Xeon Silver 4114 has 8 cores. I answer what I can, but certainly don't know it all with Precision's.
If you wanted to know if total # of cores would work, it should. If it didn't, it would be the same as not adding another CPU.
I looked at the RAM charts in the Tech Guide, which you should also review if you want. It doesn't appear a split for 128GB is required. I'd split it if for some reason there's boot issues. Or the RAM could be split out of abundance of caution.
