Precision Rack 7910 - Win7 reinstall issues

My R7910 OS drive recently failed on me and I bought a new Samsung EVO 860 SATA3 512GB SSD and trying to install Win7 but running into the error "windows is unable to install to the selected location. error: 0x80300024"

I loaded PERC H330 mini RAID controller drivers at the beginning of the reinstall and then was able to see the drives (new SSD and the RAID HDD). I then formatted the SSD which is "Disk2 Partition 1" and now when trying to install OS on this I am running into this error message. 

Do I have to unseat/remove the RAID drives and then put them back in after reinstalling OS on the SSD?
