Precision will not boot, fans running
Hello all, hoping you can help me.
I have a Precision 5820 that I purchased used a couple of months ago.
It was put to sleep yesterday overnight. This morning, it wouldn't wake up to key stroke, so pressed power button, but will not boot. As soon as you plug it in, the power button briefly flashes orange, then solid white. The CPU fan and case fans immediately turn on at full speed. No POST, nothing on the displays.
I have tried unplugging, then unplugging all the peripherals, taking battery out, holding power button 15 seconds. Didn't work.
I've tried reseating the power supply (its handle is solid green), reseating RAM, and reseating the PCI cards. Didn't work.
Not sure what else to do. Can anyone help with this?
Thank you!

I ended up calling Dell and it is still under warranty. They say the motherboard is bad, so they're sending someone for service.

Ah well, if it's still under warranty, that's the best move possible

FYI: motherboard replaced yesterday and it's working fine now.
