Replaceing x5570 CPU in T7500 with x5690
We would like to speed up our Dell T7500 workstatsions by replacing the dual x5570 with matched dual x5690 CPUs. Are they compatabile? What kind of increase can we expect?

The x5690 is compatible with the T7500. The original part number: CR96M.
I can't give out any performance numbers but you may be able to find some 3rd party benchmarks on the web.
