T5400 Sound Issues
So recently, I picked up a Precision T5400 with dual Xeon 5405s, and upgraded it to Windows 10 Education because I got a free code from a friend. I also maxed the RAM out to 32 gigabytes.
The machine runs fine except for one issue. I don't have any sound on it, with Windows 10 telling me "No output devices found" and "no audio devices are installed" when I plug in a perfectly functional set of Harman Kardon speakers that work well with my brothers machine.
Did anybody else have these issues with sound drivers upgrading to Windows 10, or is this happening because the onboard sound is dead?

You probably won't find Win10 drivers for the T5400 anymore on the Dell site. However, you should be able to download drivers. https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/precision-t5400/drivers
If you still have issues like if you tried the driver(s) and same problem still exists, or if there's any "!" in a yellow triangle in Device Manager, please let us know.
Also, Win10 updates have been known to break drivers on occasion.

I have seen this happen. Though the drivers where installed it is saying there is there is no audio device.
See if this works for you. Check bios Audio has auto , on, or off. Default is Auto choose "ON" I was amazed that it worked.
If not get a sound card ... they are cheap.
