T7610 initial hard drive setup

I just purchased a used T7610 with no hard drives. Once it arrives I plan to add a 500GB SATA SSD boot drive and a regular SATA 4TB hard drive for data. I plan to dual boot ubuntu 16.4 and win10.

What is the best way to connect the drives. Do I need a SAS adapters? or does the T7610 have enough SATA ports?

Edit: I have been searching the internet and from what I have read I can use the SAS ports for SATA drives with out any adapters, does that sound right? Are there any guides for the SAS controller settings?
