Cards that you add must support DOS VESA video mode 103 or they will not post.

Most All of the Newer Radeon based cards will not work.

Most All of the Newer Pascal Based NVIDIA cards work fine.

Older Radeon cards like the 5770 work in crossfire mode.

SLI is not supported.

I'm running a nVidia Quadro P2000 on a T5500 (the T3500's big brother) and it works very well.  The system is ultra reliable and everything (on 3 monitors) is quite reliable.

I installed a Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB video card and after adding all the drivers it worked beautifully and ran within normal heat ranges.  It is a low power requirement video card (95w?) so with two Samsung 860 EVO SSD's and a Xeon X5670 6-core 2.93GHz processor it had no problems.  I checked the power usage at the power plug the whole computer was drawing less than 300w while under heavy use.  It actually made a decent gaming computer.

  • I can just say that there are several YouTube videos that show upgrades to the T3500 if you type T3500 in the search area.
