As long as you have 685w or larger power supply and the optional gpu power cable it should work fine.

Thanks.  The card fan goes on full speed as soon as the machine is turned on.  I have tried many different versions of drivers, but no effect.  I wonder if this is only with 5810 and if anyone had been successful with 5810.

NON Dell Quadro RTX 4000 requires SECURE BOOT OFF in F2 BIOS as well as the AUX PCI-E VIDEO POWER CABLE because its more than 75W card.

I use that exact card in several of my Precision Workstations and it works fine.

Thanks for your help.  I have the right cable and power (710K9).  The system has no problem to boot and work.  The only problem is the card fan.  It works in full speed even if the card has very low temperature, and sounds like jet engine all the time !

If the card fan is running full speed when working thats normal.

If it does this Idle then it may need new thermal paste and thermal pads on the ram chips and other parts.
